Description
These oven baked drumsticks make the perfect brown bag lunch or a quick snack no matter
the time of day.
Ingredients
8 chicken drumsticks
1 teaspoon parsley flakes
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon Kosher salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1½ teaspoon garlic powder
1-2 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
Instructions
Rinse and pat dry the drumsticks, score each drumstick with a knife and make 2 shallow
cuts.
In a small bowl add all the dry spices and stir to combine. Place drumsticks in a large bowl or
large zip lock bag, drizzle the olive oil over the drumsticks and lightly coat. Sprinkle the dry
spices over the drumsticks and mix or tumble till the drumsticks are well coated. Zip the bag
or cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let marinate in the refrigerator for a minimum of 1
hour (2-3 hours is even better).
Preheat the oven to 400 F.
Place drumsticks on a baking sheet and bake for 35-45 minutes (Internal temp should be 165
degrees F) and serve.
